I had a lovely stay here. We were a group of family members chose to stay here for one night. All the staffs were very cooperative and made us comfortable. Would like to mention Chef Prajith for his personalized service, a wonderful person came to meet us and prepared delicious food. Thank you dear and wish you all the very best to the entire team.

Though located in town center, with in about 1 KM from KSRTC Bus stand, it is in a crowded narrow road full of potholes. Room is very spacious and clean.Bathroom/Toilet also is clean and in good condition. However, didn't get hot water at any time. On inquiring, the reply was "it is solar powered and the tank is empty" . Furniture is old and fraying. TV is ancient. Remote was not working but promptly replaced it. Electrical fittings in Bath room need repair. We didn't have any food from here, hence, can't commend about it. Overall, an average hotel with nothing much to complain or rave about. O.K for families for a day or two if expectations are not too high.

Location - 500meter from KSRTC Stand and 1.5km from Railway station. Rooms - Very Old and needs maintenance. Bed linens were damaged and old. Really disappointed. Bathrooms - the mirror will mock you like this.(See attached Pics) Bathroom ceiling is really damaged. Staffs - were so supportive. This is why I gave 2 stars. Overall...Simply avoidable hotel. They are maintaining the hotel. So come after the maintanence.

I stayed for two days in Orchid . Amazing rooms GM Sajesh Abraham was very cooperative and helpful. When we faced few issues he personally came and managed everything as a family member. Food was also delicious. Next holiday I am planning to come to Kumarakom . Stay would be definitely at Orchid. I suggest Orchid for everyone for stay and food.
